November 11, 2016 | Project Iteration 1 | Our first iteration will contain include an initial prototype of the user interface, database design, and a non-functional skeleton website. We will have begun to explore various scheduling algorithms. |
December 9, 2016 | Project Iteration 2 | Our second iteration will include the completed database, frontend form submission pages, and cancellation pages. Both the student and volunteer submission backend integration will be completed. The skeleton website will be a functional website hereafter, integrated with backend functions. We shall use randomly generated data and user acceptance testing to thoroughly test our submission system at the completion of this iteration. |
December 9, 2016 | Design Document | Version 1.0 of the design document will be created and uploaded to the deliverables section of this website. |

February 1, 2017 | Project Iteration 3 | After testing the production deployment done on January 29th, TWU’s webpage will add links to the signup forms on their website, directing new students to the signup forms. Iteration 3 is the live Signup piece of the application. This includes forms for every participant, as well as the cancellation page. |
February 3, 2017 | User Manual 0.5 | The user manual containing the information on the Signup Forms part of the application. It will be submitted on the Brazos server. |
February 24, 2017 | Project Iteration 4 | The fourth iteration will add the framework for the scheduling and report generation piece of the application. This includes full HTML web pages and functional connection to the back end, but not integration with the scheduling algorithm or database. All transitional (link and buttons) functionality shall be covered by integration tests. |
March 24, 2017 | Project Iteration 5 | The fifth iteration will be the fully functioning application, which includes working scheduling algorithm, properly generated reports, and thorough testing. We shall complete the final stages of testing before delivering the finalized software to the customer. |
March 24, 2017 | User Manual | Version 1.0 of the user manual will be created and uploaded to the deliverables section of this website. |
April 1, 2017 | Texas Wesleyan University Expanding Your Horizons | We will all be attending Texas Wesleyan University's Expanding Your Horizons event to support our system as needed! |
April 13, 2017 | TCU Student Research Symposium Poster | We will be submitting our poster for the Student Research Symposium presentation day. |
April 21, 2017 | TCU Student Research Symposium | We will all be attending TCU's Student Research Symposium to present our work to the TCU community. |
May 1, 2017 | Project Iteration 6 | The sixth and final iteration will be the finalization of the documentation. We will start preparing for upcoming presentations. |
May 4, 2017 | Final Presentation | We will give our final presentation in front of the computer science faculty, students, and family. |
May 5, 2017 | Developer's Guide | Version 1.0 of the developer's guide will be created and uploaded to the deliverables section of this website. |
May 8, 2017 | Final Project Submission | Our final project of all documentation and code will be submitted on a DVD to Dr. Payne. |
